It’s been a busy week for casting news for the live-action One Piece, but it isn’t stopping yet, as Netflix has announced four more cast members for the second season!
So far, Netflix has already cast seven new actors for the second season of One Piece;
- Daniel Lasker (Raised by Wolves) as Mr. 9
- Camrus Johnson (Batwoman) as Mr. 5
- Jazzara Jaslyn (Warrior) as Miss Valentine
- David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) as Mr. 3
- Clive Russell (Tales of Babylon) as Crocus
- Werner Coetser (Diepe Waters) as Dorry
- Brendan Murray as Brogy
Callum Kerr as Smoker
Scottish actor Callum Kerr has yet to star in a Netflix Original, but HBO subscribers and Monarch fans will recognize the actor as Wade Stellings. British audiences will be most familiar with the actor from the soap Hollyoaks, where he played George Kiss for 70 episodes between 2020 and 2021.
Based on his appearance alone, this is excellent casting for Smoker.
Julia Rehwald as Tashigi
American actress Julia Rehwald will be most familiar to Netflix subscribers for her role as Kate Schmidt, a Cheerleader of Shadyside High School in the Fear Street Trilogy. She is also the voice of Celesta Kami in Disney’s animated series Young Jedi Adventures.
Rob Colletti as Wapol
Rob Colletti is best known for his work outside of television and film. He is an incredibly talented theatre actor. He played Dewey in the School of Rock’s first national tour. He played the roles of Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon and as Roger in the 40th Anniversary Revival of Grease.
Some of his onscreen roles include Julue DeRogatis in The Many Saints of Newark and Jerry the Janitor in Just Role With It. He was also Connor Brussel in WTF: World Thumbwrestling Federation.
Ty Keogh as Dalton
Keogh hasn’t starred in a Netflix Original, but some subscribers will recognize him from the series Black Sails, where he played Adams in the fourth season. He recently starred in the fifth season of the South African drama Die Byl.
As for films, he has starred in 24 Hours to Live, Accident, Blood Diamond, and Starship Troopers 3: Marauder.
