The ZTE Nubia Z50 Ultra is an upcoming flagship that will seemingly offer a bezel-less design, and an under-display camera. This information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, who also shared an image of the phone.
The Nubia Z50 Ultra will deliver bezel-less design, and an under-display camera
If you take a look at the image below this paragraph, you’ll see what we’re talking about. This design does remind us of the Red Magic 8 Pro, as that phone also has flat sides, and an under-display camera, combined with a flat display, and thin bezels.
The sheer thinness of these bezels is obvious thanks to this image, as the content on the display is white. You’ll also notice that the power/lock key is red-colored, which is a nice touch, and something we’re used to seeing from Nubia.
The frame of this phone is obviously made out of metal. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the phone’s backplate here. It will probably be a glass panel, though. We also don’t get to see the bottom part of the phone, so we don’t know if the bezels will be uniform.
Another detail that Digital Chat Station shared has to do with the release date of this phone. Digital Chat Station says that the phone will launch next month, in March.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will likely fuel the device
This will be a high–end phone, that much we do know. It will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. A 5,000mAh battery is also rumored, and the same goes for a periscope camera.
Its under-display camera will likely be provided by BOE, the same one the Red Magic 8 Pro uses. That’s basically all the info we have about its specs, but the phone will pack in high-end specifications all around, that much is certain.
Unfortunately, though, this handset probably won’t reach global markets. At least its predecessors didn’t. We’ll have to wait and see.
