Nubia has revealed the design of its upcoming flagship, the Z40 Pro. The company shared some renders of the phone via Weibo, sharing another piece of the puzzle with the public. You can check them out in the gallery below.

The Nubia Z40 Pro design has been revealed

As you can see, the Nubia Z40 Pro will offer a rather squarish design with sharp corners. Its sides will be curved, to fit your hand better, while the display will be curved as well. The bezels will be almost non-existent.

A display camera hole is included, and it is centered at the top of the display. The power/lock key is placed on the right-hand side, and it is red-colored. The volume up and down buttons sit above the power key.

You can also clearly see the phone’s rear camera setup. This design does remind us of the Vivo X70 Pro+ a bit, not because of the camera array, but because of the plate next to the camera setup.

The phone will include three cameras on the back, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC

There are clearly three cameras included here. We also know what those cameras are. The main one will be a 64-megapixel unit, with Sony’s IMX787 sensor at the heart of it, hidden behind a 35mm lens.

A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera will also be a part of the package. The third camera on the back will be an 8-megapixel telephoto unit, and it will offer a 5x optical zoom.

The Nubia Z40 Pro is shown in two colors here, dark gray, and silver, at least that’s what they look like in these renders. Now, Nubia also confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will fuel this phone. The Nubia Z40 Pro will clearly be the company’s flagship offering.

The device is also said to feature a 4,200mAh battery, and support 120W fast charging. It seems like a charger won’t be included with the phone, though, but we’ll see.

The Nubia Z40 Pro will become official on February 25. It will launch in China first, and it remains to be seen if it will leave its homeland at all.
