Xiaomi announced yesterday that the MIX Fold 3 will launch on August 14. That will become the company’s brand new book-style foldable smartphone. Well, that’s not all Xiaomi will announce. Xiaomi will also present a new tablet and smart band on August 14.
Xiaomi is also planning to announce a new tablet & smart band on August 14
This information comes thanks to some official images you can check out below the article. Those images have been reshared by a tipster. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro will become official on the said date, it seems.
We don’t have a lot of info on these two devices, but some specs did surface, along with images. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will feature a 14-inch display. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has an 11-inch one, so this tablet will be considerably larger. It’s obviously meant to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
In addition to that, the tipster confirmed that this tablet will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Xiaomi opted not to go with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, probably for pricing reasons. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still an outstanding SoC, so no worries there.
You can clearly see that the tablet will have flat sides in the image provided below. It will have a camera island in the top-left corner on the back. Xiaomi’s logo is also present on the back, but it’s quite minimal. The bezels on this tablet also won’t exactly be thick.
The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro will look more like a watch than a smart band, as expected
The Xiaomi Band 8 Pro, on the flip side, will include a 1.74-inch display. Based on the design, it’ll look more like a watch than a fitness band. We can clearly see that both metallic and leather bands will be available for the device.
The images below also show us a couple of watch faces that you’ll be able to choose from here. The display will feature rounded corners, and the watch itself will follow that shape.
