Apple recently stopped all rumors and finally set a launch date for the iPhone 16 series. This year’s iPhone models will be unveiled at the company’s September 9 event, with the tagline “It’s Glowtime”. Ahead of the launch, we know almost all the details regarding the specs of the upcoming iPhones.
There have also been reports about Apple introducing some of the iPhone 16 models in new colorways. Recent leaks showed the iPhone 16 Pro or 16 Pro Max in a new Desert Titanium color. Now, 9to5mac has shared a mockup image, which shows the iPhone 16 Pro in the rumored Gold Titanium colorway or whatever Apple ends up calling it.
Here’s what the iPhone 16 Pro’s Gold Titanium color variant may look like
The photo shared by 9to5Mac was created by an inside source. Notably, the same source accurately leaked the natural Gray Titanium hue of the iPhone 15 Pro before the official launch last year. Going by the source’s accurate track record, this is how the iPhone 16 Pro may look in Gold Titanium color.
The shade of gold in the mockup image is quite different from what we’ve seen in the earlier leaks. One can’t deny that there’s a lot of similarity between the gold iPhone 16 Pro and the Kim Kardashian Beats Studio Pro. Earlier leaked dummy units showed something different, a much darker shade of gold. Some earlier leaks suggested that this particular hue could be called Brown, Bronze, or Desert Titanium.
Apple could offer this year’s iPhones in multiple attractive hues
Either way, all the leaks are suggesting new colors for the iPhone 16 series. Notably, one of the reports indicated that the iPhone 16 Plus model will be offered in as many as seven hues. The Plus model will purportedly bring two new colorways including White and Purple. The rest of the five hues are said to be the same as the last generation. These include Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Black.
The iPhone 16 Pro is also expected to be available in four other colorways other than the Gold/Desert Titanium hue. These are said to be Space Black, Gray, White, and Rose. There’s a possibility that Apple could have different names for these hues this year. Since the launch is just around the corner, official details are on the way, so stay tuned for regular updates.
