Summary: The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature four cameras on the back, based on a new rumor. It will include a 200-megapixel main camera with a variable aperture and three 50-megapixel ones, including ultrawide, telephoto, and periscope telephoto cameras. The exact sensor sizes are mentioned as well, and the same goes for other camera spec details. Take this information with a grain of salt, though.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is far off at this point. The phone will likely launch in January next year, so we’re around 10 months away from that point. That did not stop rumors from surfacing, however.
A recent rumor suggested that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may switch to a three cameras setup on the back. That doesn’t exactly sound plausible, but… who knows. Well, a new camera leak is now upon us, and it tells a different story.
A new Galaxy S26 Ultra rumor shares a different camera story
This new rumor comes from Siddhant B, who says that the information has been picked up from Jukanlosreve, a tipster. We’ve searched his X profile, but could not find that information there. Either way, take the following information with a grain of salt.
This rumor claims that the phone will include four rear cameras after all. A 200-megapixel main camera is tipped. It is said that it will include variable aperture (f/1.4-f/4.0), OIS, a 23.6mm lens, 0.6um pixel size, and a 1/1.3-inch sensor.
A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (1/2.52-inch sensor size, f/1.9 aperture, 13mm lens, 0.7um pixel size) is also tipped. The third camera will allegedly be a 50-megapixel telephoto unit (1/3.15-inch sensor size, f/2.4 aperture, OIS, 80mm lens, 3.5x optical zoom).
A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit is tipped, here are the details
The last camera on the back will be a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit, based on this information. It will offer a 1/2.76-inch sensor, OIS, 0.64um pixel size, f/3.0 aperture, and an 184mm lens equivalent. This camera will offer 8x optical zoom.
While this is possible and everything, we’re not sure how accurate it is. It is still very early, plus this is not a regular source for such info. So, take it with a grain of salt, and we’ll see if there’s any truth to it.
