Cleaning and maintaining your home used to be a manual process. You’d have to vacuum, sweep, and mop everything by hand. These days, technology has come a long way, and upkeeping your house has become easier and more automated. If you’re looking to make your chores less tedious, Narwal has unveiled a bunch of new smart cleaning products at CES 2025 that might be worth taking a look at.
Narwal Flow
Starting with the Narwal Flow series, this is one of the company’s most advanced smart cleaning products to date. It comes with features like the FlowWash Mopping System with EdgeReach Technology. This uses dual water tanks for real-time self-cleaning, meaning that the robot won’t mop your floors using old and dirty water.
If your home is carpeted, the Deep Carpet Boost feature will come in handy. It uses counter-directional movement and adaptive brushing. This helps to extract dirt and hair that might have been embedded into your carpets over the years. Speaking of hair, sometimes hair can tangle up in a robot vacuum’s rollers. The Narwal Flow uses a Zero-Tangle Cleaning Solution that claims to be able to detangle hair with 99.9% efficiency.
Since this is a robot vacuum, unsurprisingly Narwal has equipped it with advanced Twin-AI Obstacle Avoidance. This uses dual RGB cameras and a high-performance AI chip to detect and navigate over 200 types of objects. Last but not least, it comes with an 8-in-1 Multifunction Base. This base station is where the vacuum goes back to for functions like dust emptying, mop washing, drying, and water refilling. It is large enough that Narwal claims that it can last up to 120 days of maintenance-free operations, perfect if you’re too busy or too lazy to do it yourself.
Narwal will launch the Flow series in mid-2025 and will reveal its pricing at a later date.
Narwal Freo Pro & Z10
Next up there is the Narwal Freo series. At CES 2025, Narwal adds two new models to the lineup – the Pro and Z10.
Both these models share a similar feature to the Narwal Flow series, and that is a huge base station that can contain a huge amount of dust and debris so users don’t have to worry about it too much. For the Z10, it has a 120-day hands-free self-emptying base station, while the Pro has a base station that’s large enough for up to 7-weeks of dust processing. It also washes and dries the robot vacuum’s mop.
Both models are also adept at handling hair tangles and offer mopping functions. The Z10 has a mop extension that applies 8N of downward pressure with 180 RPM mop pads, while the Pro comes with Reuleaux Triangular Mop Pads and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. It also uses Narwal’s DirtSense technology.
The Narwal Z10 is priced at $1,099 and will launch in April 2025. The Narwal Pro will arrive earlier in March 2025 and is cheaper with a price of $699.
Narwal S30
Robot vacuum cleaners are great if you want to automate the cleaning process of your home. But we get it, some of you might prefer putting in a little elbow grease yourself. If that’s what you want, Narwal also announced the S30 vacuum mop. This is a handheld device, so you will need to do it by hand instead of automating it.
The S30 features a vacuum and mop 2-in-1 solution. This means that you can vacuum and mop your floors using the same device. There are features like Dual Comb Hair Removal Technology and Auto Hair-Cutting Detangle that will help detangle hair it picks up while you’re cleaning. It also boasts self-washing and smart drying capabilities, ensuring that your mop is clean and isn’t spreading around dirty water, and also helps to dry it to prevent unwanted smells or mold.
The Narwal S30 also comes with DirtSense technology so that users can customize their cleaning experience based on their floor types. The S30 is priced at $649 and is expected to launch in Q2 2025.
