The Motorola Razr 2023 just got certified by the FCC, so the phone’s launch cannot be far at this point. Do note that the phone may be called the Motorola Razr+ or Motorola Razr+ 2023, though, if a recent report is to be believed.
The Motorola Razr 2023 got certified by the FCC, battery capacity revealed
The device appeared in three model numbers, the XT2321-1, XT2321-3, and XT2321-5. This listing did share some information on the phone’s battery capacity too.
There are two battery packs included here, a 2,850mAh battery, and a 790mAh battery. Together, they form a 3,640mAh battery. This is standard practice when it comes to clamshell foldables, actually.
So, the all-new Motorola Razr will have a larger battery pack than its predecessor. As a reminder, the Razr 2022 included a 3,500mAh battery. Compared to the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s battery, however, this one will be small. The Find N2 Flip includes a 4,300mAh battery pack.
Considering that the Motorola Razr 2023 is tipped to include a much larger cover display than its predecessor, we’re a bit worried about the battery life. In fact, it will have a larger cover display than even the OPPO Find N2 Flip, if the leaks are to be believed.
The phone is expected to support 33W charging
The Motorola Razr 2023 is tipped to utilize 33W fast wired charging. The phone did surface several times thus far, and every one of those leaks shows a large cover display that goes even around the phone’s cameras.
The phone already surfaced in both renders and a real-life image, if you’d like to take a closer look at it. It seems like we’ll once again get two cameras on the back of the device. A display camera hole is expected on the main display yet again.
So, when is it coming? Well, the Razr 2022 arrived in mid-August, so this one may arrive around the same time. Still, Motorola could change things up, and launch it sooner. We’ve seen quite a few leaks thus far, plus this FCC listing now. Do note that it may launch in China first, as it did last year.
