The Motorola Edge S30 has leaked on multiple occasions. The phone is likely to be available in multiple markets, including the U.S. Its release appears to be imminent, with the device making an appearance on the FCC certification database.

The smartphone also appeared on the 3C and Wi-Fi Alliance certification sites not too long ago. So this FCC certification merely confirms what we already knew. The FCC site also shares some info on the hardware features of the device, particularly the battery and its maximum charging speed.

For starters, the Motorola Edge S30 will bear the XT2175-1 model number. We also learn that the phone will feature a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support built-in. This detail was also mentioned by the 3C certification site not too long ago.

The Motorola Edge S30 features identical dimensions as the recently unveiled Moto G200 5G

Based on older reports, the Motorola Edge S30 will pack a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. There will also be a 108-megapixel rear primary camera with two more sensors. Unfortunately, we don’t have much information on the specs of these camera sensors. The phone will likely run on the octa-core Snapdragon 888+ chipset, with at least 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM.

Older reports have told us that the Motorola Edge S30 will be at least 8.8mm thick while weighing 202 grams. As MySmartPrice points out, the phone has similar dimensions and specs as the recently launched Moto G200 5G. However, the latter sports a 5,000mAh battery underneath, whereas the Edge S30 will offer a 4,700mAh unit.

The Motorola Edge S30 and the Edge X recently made their way to the Chinese device certification database TENAA. The Edge X is touted to be the more powerful of the two, with the phone expected to feature a 4,700mAh battery with 68.2W fast charging. This makes sense given that the Edge X will hit the markets with Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Thanks to these attributes, the Motorola Edge X should be capable of recharging from 0 to 50% in only 15 minutes. Moroever, it can reportedly go from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes. The phone could be available in 8 or 12GB RAM variants, while customers would have 128 and 256GB storage options.
