Earlier in February, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14 (review) and 14 Ultra (review) flagships for the global markets. The company is now reportedly working on the “T” variants of 14 series high-end smartphones. Not many details about the upcoming Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro were available until now. A new report has revealed almost complete details regarding the specs and prices of the Xiaomi 14T series phones.

Xiaomi 14T specs: AMOLED display, Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, and Leica cameras

The latest leak suggests that there won’t be a huge difference between the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro’s specs and prices. They will feature different processors, storage, and camera features, while the rest of the specs will be quite similar.

Talking about the Xiaomi 14T first, it is said to flaunt a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. The screen panel will flaunt a 144Hz refresh rate, 1220x2712p resolution, and 4,000 nits peak brightness. The high-end offering will boast TUV Rheinland certification and support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision content. Under the helm, there will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor. The phone will be offered with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

As for the cameras, the Xiaomi 14T could offer a 50MP Leica wide-angle main lens with a 1/1.56-inch IMX906 sensor. The secondary lens will be a 50MP Leica telephoto shooter with 2.6x zooming capabilities, which will be equal to 4x optical zoom. Notably, the device will also have a 12MP Leica ultra-wide angle third lens with a 120-degree field of view. For selfies, the handset will offer a 32MP snapper, the source adds.

Furthermore, the new report suggests that the Xiaomi 14T will have IP68 certification for protection against water and dust. The connectivity features will include dual nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The phone is said to boot Android 14 and will be fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery. There’s no word if the handset will support wireless charging or not.

Xiaomi 14T Pro will have a more powerful SoC, more capable cameras, and wireless charging

Moving on to the Xiaomi 14T Pro, the phone is said to utilize a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. The device is said to offer the same 12GB of RAM as the 14T variant, but the storage will be increased to 512GB. Furthermore, the source suggests the Pro model will offer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Android 14, and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W wireless charging support.

Another major difference between the Xiaomi 14T duo will be in the imaging department. The Xiaomi 14T Pro model is said to flaunt a larger 1/31-inch type main camera with the Light Fusion 900 sensor. It will offer 2x “optical equivalent” zooming capabilities. The other two cameras of the 14T Pro will be the same as the 14T. It will also offer a 32MP selfie camera.

Pricing and color variants

According to the report, the Xiaomi 14T (12GB+256GB) will go for €649 (approx. $715) in European markets. The Xiaomi 14T Pro (12GB+512GB), on the other hand, will be offered for €899, which roughly translates to $995. There’s no word if more RAM and storage variants of these devices will be on offer.

Both smartphones will be available in three color variants. These are said to include Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, and Titanium Blue. Since nothing is officially confirmed, it is advisable to take these details with a grain of salt. The successors, Xiaomi 13T (review) and 13T Pro, were introduced in September last year, so an official announcement regarding the predecessors seems imminent.
