LinkedIn is mainly famous for two things — searching for new jobs, and sharing thoughts and news about different events. But now you can also play games on LinkedIn. Yes, you read that right; LinkedIn has added three Wordle games to its platform that you can play during your free time.

Beat Boredom with Games

Following a major decline in ad revenue recently, many digital companies are seeking alternative revenue streams through their platforms. One strategy they’re exploring is increasing the time users spend on their platforms. However, this won’t be easy, as it’s challenging for companies to keep their customers engaged with their platforms once their work is done on the platform.

To address that, companies are taking a different approach, one of which is incorporating games into their platforms. LinkedIn is the latest company to adopt this strategy, and it has added three Wordle games to its platform. These new games are — Pinpoint, Crossclimb, and Queens.

The first game that LinkedIn is offering is Pinpoint, which is a category guess game. In this game, you will be provided a word clue, and you will have to guess the category in which the word fits into. If you guess the wrong category, you will be provided with a different word clue. The job is to guess the category with the help of the least number of clues.

The next game is Crossclimb, which is a trivia ladder game. In this game, you will have to fill out the words in the ladder using your trivia and word knowledge. Once you start filling in words, you will have to rearrange them in such a manner that each word in the ladder differs from the other word by only one letter. This will ultimately help you unlock the final two clues that will help you win the game.

The last game is Queens, which is a logic-based game. This game is quite simple and interesting. You’ll have to fill the grids with queens in such a manner that there is only one queen in every row, column, and region. You should also make sure that no two queens touch each other.

The best part is that you’ll be able to play each game only once a day. This means, you won’t get distracted by these games for too long, and you’ll continue to use the app for what it’s famous for.

LinkedIn will also allow you to share these game scores, and streaks with your connections. Additionally, you’ll be able to see which of your connections have played LinkedIn games today. This will help you notice some of your connections that you might have forgotten about.

You can get access to these games under the LinkedIn News and My Network section on the LinkedIn desktop. And, if you’re using the LinkedIn mobile app, then you’ll find it in the My Network tab. Alternatively, you can also click this link to directly go to the LinkedIn games page.
