LG unveils its S20A soundbar at CES 2025

CES 2025 is just hours away, and we’re all looking forward to all of the new and exciting tech that our favorite companies are developing. Among the companies is LG. Ahead of CES, LG is showing off its S20A soundbar, and it’s sure to make a splash at the event.

How the LG S20A soundbar is stealing the show at CES

We mostly know LG for making incredible displays. Many people out there gather around an LG TV to enjoy movie night. Well, the company has another device that will augment movie night even more. The S20A is a compact, yet powerful soundbar that you can connect to your TV for an engaging and encompassing audio experience.

We sometimes forget that LG makes speakers, as it has several devices like soundbars and earbuds already on the market. So, it’s familiar with crafting devices that give you high-quality audio. The thing about the S20A is that it can give you some nice audio without taking up too much space. It’s a relatively compact soundbar, being able to sit under your TV.

While it’s a smaller speaker, you can expect some powerful sound to come from it. You can get up to 50W of power, which is nothing to sneeze at. That’s enough to fill your whole living room with high-quality audio.

One thing about this speaker is that it doesn’t come with a dedicated subwoofer. All of the bass comes right from the soundbar itself, which is impressive. In fact, along with powerful bass, the S20A soundbar provides some crisp highs. That’s great, as you’d want a well-balanced sound when you’re watching movies or TV shows.

Refine your sound

While you can use this speaker with TVs from several brands, you can expect the best experience when using it with LG’s own TVs. In fact, using the company’s proprietary WOW interface, you’ll be able to cater the audio to your preferences. You’ll be able to refine your audio using the three-band EQ. Three bands isn’t enough to fine-tune your audio, but it’s still pretty decent.

At this point, we don’t know how much this speaker will cost. Since LG sells several devices in the premium space, it might cost a pretty penny, but we’ll need to wait to see.
