Google’s new exclusive AI feature for the Pixel 10 series has just been uncovered by the Telegram channel, Mystic Leaks. It shows a short screen recording of the final step of setting up this feature – called Magic Cue.
They claim that this is the “spiritual successor” to Pixel Sense, which first leaked a couple months ago. It seems that since then, Google has decided to change up its marketing name for this feature. Though, it is also possible that this recording that Mystic Leaks got their hands on, could be an earlier version. As it would be a little odd for Google not to use “Pixel” in this name.
The video shows that this feature is described as “Magic Cue uses AI to show you useful details and time-saving actions based on the app you’re using. For example if a friend asks for your flight number in a chat, Magic Cue can find it from your Gmail – saving you the search.”
Towards the end of the video, it scrolls down to show you how it works. Perhaps the most important aspect of this is the fact that you can control which apps Magic Cue can use data from. Like Gmail, Calendar, Keep, and tasks data. You can also use it with the Pixel Screenshots app that Google debuted last year on the Pixel 9.
Google’s Pixel 10 series is coming in August
The Google Pixel 10 release date is set for August 28, with the Made by Google event on August 20 and pre-orders opening that day. So we’re still almost two months away from this launch. Meaning that we still have time to see many more leaks coming out about the Pixel 10 series. And the name of this feature could change once again, before the launch – and I fully expect it too.
