Apple’s upcoming smartphones are expected to launch in September, and that’s exactly what will happen, based on a new report. The iPhone 16 launch date has just leaked, and there are no surprises here.
The iPhone 16 series launch date leaks, and there are really no surprises here
According to CNMO Technology News, a Chinese outlet, the iPhone 16 series will arrive on September 10. Apple tends to hots its events on Tuesdays, in September, so this kind of fits. Last year’s event, for example, took place on a Tuesday (September 12) too.
Now, this information does not come from a well-known tipster or anything like that. So, take it with a grain of salt until a better-known source shares additional information. That is not to say that CNMO Technology News is wrong, but we’re not sure.
In a separate piece of news, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said that the iPhone 16 series is coming in September, as expected. He thus confirmed that no delays will take place, despite the fact that Apple Intelligence will be delayed.
Apple will launch for new iPhones in September
As many of you know, four new iPhones are coming. The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be coming in September. Plenty of information leaked thus far.
The two ‘Pro’ models will get bigger displays than last year. Each will get a 0.2-inch display size increase. The other two variants are said to keep the same display sizes as their predecessors.
It’s worth noting that the iPhone 16 Pro will get the same Tetraprism lens as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will seemingly include an unchanged Tetraprism lens, so the two should have the same telephoto camera, essentially.
Apple is also looking to trim down bezels even further on the iPhone 16 Pro series. That way the phones shouldn’t be much larger despite the display increase.
