A Wisconsin couple, Skyler Klassen, 22, and Madison Bishop, 21, are facing serious criminal charges after authorities uncovered disturbing text messages allegedly detailing their plans to sexually abuse Bishop’s infant daughter, even before the child was born.

The allegations have sent shockwaves through the community and highlight the horrific potential for premeditated harm against the most vulnerable.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by People, Madison, Wisconsin, police arrested Klassen on April 9th after authorities found child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on his phone. He had a warrant out of Nevada for similar offenses.

Further investigation of Klassen’s phone allegedly revealed graphic text messages exchanged between him and Bishop, dating back to January, which outlined their intentions to sexually assault the then-unborn child. Bishop was subsequently arrested on April 15th. The content of these alleged text messages present a deeply disturbing picture.

Bishop encouraged fantasies of abuse

According to the criminal complaint, Bishop allegedly encouraged Klassen in his intent to abuse her daughter. The couple reportedly discussed explicit sexual fantasies involving the infant, and they are also accused of sharing CSAM. One particularly alarming alleged text from Bishop stated, “I wanna be a good tradwife [and] teach our girls how to be good toys.”

Other alleged messages from Bishop included the assertion that “I think a lot more people are into this than admit it tbh .. If it was legal then a lot more people would I think,” and the shocking statement, “I’m so excited to raise a lil p— star.”

Following Klassen’s arrest, police reportedly found explicit photos and videos of the infant.  Authorities believe this assault occurred on April 7th. The relationship between Klassen and the child is not explicitly stated in the complaint.

As a result of the investigation, Bishop has been charged with one count each of first-degree child sexual assault and failure to protect a child. Klassen faces even more extensive charges, including one count of first-degree sexual assault, one count of incest, four counts of sexual exploitation of a child, and four counts of possession of child sex abuse material.

Both Klassen and Bishop have been taken into custody. Public court records indicate that Bishop has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 30th, while it remains unclear when Klassen is expected to appear in court.

When contacted for comment, the couple’s defense attorney declined to provide a statement. The Dane County District Attorney’s Office also refrained from commenting, citing the ongoing investigation and prosecution.
