Can Michigan stay perfect?
Michigan finished the regular season 12-0 for the first time since 1997. That’s pretty special, not only because they haven’t lost in 2022, but also their last National Championship was in 1997. It was a shared National Championship with Nebraska, since there was no National Championship game back then. While 12-0 is a big feat for Michigan, the job’s not done, as starting QB JJ McCarthy stated this week. Their ultimate goal is to go 15-0. And the Big Ten Championship game is the next step in that quest.
But not so fast. Michigan will have to face off with the Purdue Boilermakers. Sure, they are a 8-4 team this year. But let’s not forget how often they have knocked off top 10 teams in recent years. Hopefully, Michigan is not looking ahead to the College Football Playoff, and doesn’t get upset by the Boilermakers.
This is another championship game that will likely end up being pretty lopsided. Michigan is currently a 17.5-point favorite over Purdue. And the Big Ten Championship game is generally a blowout, due to how stacked the East division is compared to the West. Since the division realignment in 2014, the West has never won this game. Can Purdue break that streak?
Michigan won this game last year against Iowa, 42-3. They are looking to repeat as Big Ten Champions for the first time since 2003-04.
What time does the Big Ten Championship game kickoff?
The Big Ten Championship Game takes place on Saturday, December 3, and starts at 8PM ET/5PM PT. Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff crew will be at this game as well.
It’ll be taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
How to watch the Big Ten Championship game
The Big Ten Championship game is going to be live on Fox. In fact, Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff game is going to be at this game in Las Vegas.
Fox is an OTA channel, so you can watch it without paying for anything. But you will need an antenna, if you don’t already have one.
If you’re looking to stream the Big Ten Championship game, you can do so with Sling TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV and a few others out there. Or you can just head over to foxsports.com and watch it for free. You will get a one-hour free pass on Fox’s website, otherwise, you’ll need to login with a TV provider.
Sling TV
Sling TV is probably the cheapest way to watch the Big Ten Championship Game, if you’re looking to stream. It’s currently $40 per month for Sling Blue, which has Fox included. However you can get your first month for half off. You’ll also be able to DVR the Big Ten Championship Game, with 50 hours of DVR included here. Sling TV also offers 3 device streams with the Blue package.
Important to keep in mind that Fox is not available everywhere with Sling TV, as it only has some affiliates.
You can sign up for Sling TV here. It no longer offers a free trial, instead it knocks 50% off of your first month.
FuboTV
FuboTV is a bit more expensive, but it is also the best streaming service for sports, particularly Soccer. That’s because it does offer a ton of sports channels. But in reference to the Big Ten Championship Game, it does have Fox in almost every market. So you can watch the Big Ten Championship Game on Fox.
FuboTV does have a free trial, which is about a week long. After that, you’ll be paying $69.99 per month for its Pro plan. Or up to $99 per month for its Ultimate plan. You can sign up for FuboTV by clicking here.
Hulu + Live TV
Like some of the others here, Hulu + Live TV does also offer up Fox in almost every market in the US. So you’ll be able to watch the Big Ten Championship Game on Hulu + Live TV. It is one of the more expensive services on here, at $69.99, but it does also include the Disney+ bundle for that price. So definitely not a bad bundle here.

YouTube TV
YouTube TV is definitely our favorite streaming service, and a big reason for that is the unlimited cloud DVR. So you can record the Big Ten Championship Game and not worry about storage. You can also share it with up to five family members. Which gives them their own library, recommendations and more.
YouTube TV is similar in price to FuboTV and Hulu + Live TV, at $65 per month. But it might seem like a much better price due to that unlimited cloud DVR that’s included here.
