HONOR has just announced a new laptop, tablet, and smartwatch for global markets. These three products were announced at IFA 2024 in Berlin, alongside the HONOR Magic V3 foldable which we already talked about.
HONOR announced a new laptop, tablet & smartwatch during IFA 2024
Do note that the laptop in question is the MagicBook Art 14, while the tablet is the MagicPad 2. Both of these products were announced in China a couple of months ago. The watch, on the other hand, is the HONOR Watch 5, and this is a brand new product.
The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 is a truly powerful laptop. It is very thin and light, and it also has a detachable camera. That makes it possible for it to have extremely thin bezels around the display.
The company used both magnesium & titanium to make this laptop
HONOR used both magnesium and titanium as build materials here. This laptop has a 14.6-inch display, which is touch-sensitive. It’s a 3.1K panel, and we’re looking at a 97% screen-to-body ratio here.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (155H) fuels this laptop. There are plenty of ports included here, despite the fact this laptop is very thin. You get all that you’ll need, including a Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and 3.5mm ports.
The HONOR MagicPad 2 tablet is thin, has a 144Hz display & more
The HONOR MagicPad 2, on the other hand, is a 12.3-inch tablet. It has a 144Hz display with high-frequency PWM dimming. This tablet is also very slim, it is only 5.8mm thick, and it weighs 55 grams.
This tablet is also IMAX-Enhanced certified and offers great audio. HONOR Spatial Audio technology is in use too. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC fuels this tablet, while a 10,050mAh battery is also a part of the package. 66W wired charging is on offer.
On top of Android 14, you’ll find HONOR’s MagicOS 8.0 skin. There are plenty of AI features included here.
The HONOR Watch 5 is a brand new product, it wasn’t announced in China before
The HONOR Watch 5 is a brand new product. This is a rectangular smartwatch with a single button on the right side. That is a rotating button, though. The watch weighs only 35 grams., and is only 11mm thick.
This smartwatch includes a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 450 x 390 resolution. A silicon-carbon battery is used here, and HONOR says you can get up to 15 days’ worth of battery life. That’s a 480mAh battery, by the way.
The HONOR Watch 5 can track various essential health metrics. It can track your heart rate, SpO2 levels, and more. It has GPS built-in, of course, and a ton of sports modes.
This watch comes in Black, Gold, and Green color variants.
The HONOR MagicPad 2 is priced at €599 in Europe. The only variant includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. We still don’t have the pricing for the laptop or the watch.
