HONOR has just confirmed the launch date for its new mid-range smartphones, the HONOR 400 series. The devices will be announced on May 22, and the press event will be hosted in London.

The HONOR 400 launch date has just been confirmed, and an official teaser has been shared

The company has confirmed as much via social media. On top of that, HONOR sent us a teaser video for this launch event, a video that you can check out below.

This teaser video actually confirms the design we’ve been expecting. The HONOR 400 series has been leaking for a while now, and that includes the renders of the device too.

The cheaper version will have two cameras, the ‘Pro’ model will include three

The HONOR 400 will have two cameras on the back, while the HONOR 400 Pro will include three. The camera island will have a rather interesting shape, and it will sit in the top-left corner of the phone’s back.

The front and back sides on both devices will be flat, as will the frame. The power/lock and volume up and down buttons will sit on the right-hand side of the device. No buttons will be included on the left.

You’ll notice that the corners of the phone are quite rounded. The bezels around this phone’s display are expected to be quite thin and also uniform. The HONOR 400 will include a display camera hole up top, while the ‘Pro’ model will have a small pill-shaped cutout.

They’ll have different specs

The HONOR 400 is tipped to include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, along with a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. A 200-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide snapper. 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will also be included. This phone is tipped to cost €499.

The HONOR 400 Pro, on the other hand, is said to include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It will also include 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. A 6.7-inch fullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display will also be a part of the package. A 200-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 50-megapixel telephoto unit and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera. This handset is tipped to cost €799.
