HONOR’s next-gen flagship smartphone is not expected to arrive until Q1 next year, but we just got our first look at the device. A well-known source, Digital Chat Station, shared a sketch of the device expected to be named the HONOR Magic 7 Pro. Teme turned that sketch into a render.
Two sources gave us our first look at HONOR’s upcoming flagship smartphone
So, just to be clear, this is not a leak of an official render or anything else. If you check out the gallery below, you’ll get to see both the phone’s sketch and the render a tipster created.
We only get to see the backplate of the phone here. Three cameras will be included on the back, despite the fact there are four cutouts inside the camera island. Speaking of which, the camera island will be centered, and won’t be a perfect circle this time around either. The same was the case with the HONOR Magic 6 Pro.
The camera in the top-right corner will be the periscope telephoto unit. That camera will also be used for macro photography, while it will be joined by wide and ultrawide cameras.
All the physical buttons will be located on the right-hand side of the device. The backplate will curve in all directions, not only towards the left and right sides. HONOR’s branding will be included on the back, as per usual.
The phone will arrive in Q4 2024 or Q1 2025
Now, the HONOR Magic 7 Pro is expected to arrive in Q1 next year, but it could come a bit sooner, in late 2024. A LiDAR sensor will also be a part of the package, which will be one of the cutouts on the back. A color temperature sensor will also be a part of the package.
OmniVision’s OV50K 50-megapixel camera sensor is expected to be used for both wide and ultrawide cameras. A 180 or 200-megapixel camera sensor will be in use for the periscope telephoto camera.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will fuel this phone, while a large 120Hz OLED display will also be in use. A 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is expected too, and much more.
