Samsung has announced that Galaxy Unpacked will take place on July 10, live from Paris, ahead of the Olympics. And now we’re starting to see some new renders of the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra – both of which are expected to be announced at Unpacked. These renders come courtesy of Evleaks.

Starting with the Galaxy Watch 7, it looks basically like we’d expect. It’s a round watch that looks pretty much identical to the last few Galaxy Watch models. It appears to be coming in a cream color, a forest green color, and a silver. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a black option available, at least not yet. That could change by the time we get to Unpacked – Samsung tends to keep the devices in exclusive colors for their own website.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra looks like an Apple Watch Ultra running Android

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a really interesting-looking watch from Samsung this year that has a curved display but a squircle casing. We’ve seen this leaked a few times – including by yours truly – and it’s still a weird-looking watch. It does kind of look pretty cool in the silver color. But we can’t help but see all of the similarities between it and the Apple Watch Ultra. And that includes the price.

Even down to the watch face on these renders, which looks identical to what Apple was using on the Watch Ultra. Samsung has added a crown and crown guard to the watch. Something that the Galaxy Watch 7 itself doesn’t have. This also makes me think that the bezel won’t rotate as the “Classic” model does. There are still two buttons on the side with the crown, so the software should work the same as it does on older Galaxy Watch models.

Then there are the bands. Samsung has pretty much copied the ocean band from Apple, which is available in white, orange, and black. It also appears that the casing is going to be available in either black or silver, and I must say that the black color looks incredible.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is reportedly going to be a 47mm watch, which is still smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra at 49mm. Of course, we’ll know way more on July 10.
