OnePlus shares official teasers for the OnePlus 11
We’ve been surviving off of leaks and rumors about this phone for several months. However, OnePlus just broke the rumor mill with some official teasers showcasing this new phone. Starting off with the first trailer, it’s really something.
This trailer is 46 seconds of random shots flashing on the screen. We start off with a shot of clouds with the text “The Shape of Power is coming”. Next, your eyes are assaulted with a torrent of clips of nature, urban life, and a few shots of the phone and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. You can view the trailer above if you want.
The thing is that all of the mystery is now gone. OnePlus has finally pulled the wraps off of this phone. Looking at the official image, the OnePlus 11 will have a glossy glass back. We see the OnePlus logo displayed prominently in the middle of the device right below the camera package.
The camera package is the biggest visual change from the OnePlus 10; however, it’s extremely simple. The OnePlus 11 has a large circular camera package that sits on the top left of the back. 2021’s OnePlus 10 Pro had a rectangular camera module that melted into the frame. The OnePlus 11’s almost gives off that appearance.
So, the camera package was just changed into a circle. Regardless of how simple that change is, you have to admit that it gives the phone a different aesthetic. Another notable thing about the camera package we see is the Hasselblad branding front and center.
The second trailer merely shows a 360-degree view of the phone. So, there’s not much to glean from it.
What about the specs?
The specs for this phone are still speculation, so you’ll want to take them with a grain of salt. Starting off, the OnePlus 11 is expected to have a large 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
We expect it to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of onboard storage. This means that performance should not be an issue at all.
Moving onto the camera technology, we might be looking at a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 48MP ultrawide and a 32MP telephoto camera. So far, it looks like this will be a powerful device.
