Amazon has dropped the price of the Google Pixel 8 Pro once again; now it’s just $749. That is actually cheaper than the Black Friday price we saw last November. At $749, you’re saving $250 off of its regular price, which isn’t too shabby at all.
Google announced the Pixel 8 Pro in October, as Google typically does. It was the last flagship smartphone to launch this year and a doozy. I’ve been using the Pixel 8 Pro since it launched, and I love this phone. It’s a phone that I’d recommend without a doubt.
The display is a big reason why it’s so easy to recommend this phone. While Google will tell you that the Super Actual Display is incredibly bright, that is not the whole story. But yes, it does get up to 2400 nits of peak brightness. This display looks so incredible. Putting it down is hard because the colors pop at you. Whether you’re watching videos on YouTube, browsing Twitter, or something else on your phone, it looks incredible on this display.
Of course, there is also the camera, which, as you can expect from Google, is pretty top-notch. Google has also added some rather cool features to the camera, including Magic Editor, which puts a bit of magic into your photos. It uses generative AI to change the sky, remove people and objects, and do much more. It’s truly incredible and will have you asking, “What is a photo?”
Google’s Pixel 8 Pro is a great smartphone to pick up right now for $250 off. It’s worth the price.
