We’re all used to using Google Wallet with our phones. It’s a method of replacing our physical wallet and making paying for goods and services much more convenient. However, Google just revealed the new Google Wallet website.
Over the past couple of months, Google has been pushing numerous changes to Google Wallet. For example, Google Wallet can now use the same pass files as Apple Wallet. Also, Google Wallet lets you view your ride history. These updates only push it closer to being a proper wallet replacement.
Google Wallet now has a website
This platform is not only for making mobile payments. Google Wallet is an all-encompassing platform for you to manage your payment methods. So, using the app, you can get a snapshot of all of the cards you have saved with Google.
Well, if you don’t like managing your cards using a small smartphone screen, then why not use the big screen? Today, Google just unveiled the new Google Wallet website. Just like most other Google products, all you have to do is sign in with your Google account.
When you do that, you’ll be taken to the homepage that will show you information like payment methods, passes, recent transactions, frequently asked questions, and tips. These will be truncated lists, so, if you want to view all of the cards in any list, you should tap on the View all… button under each section.
Using the website, you can look at information for each of your cards. When you click on a card, you will see information about it including the recent transactions you’ve made for that card, and which device you made the transaction with. The page will also give you the option to edit or remove that card. At the bottom of the screen, you will have the option to add a nickname to that card.
The website itself conforms to Google’s current Material You design aesthetic. This means big bubbly and round UI elements and a rather minimalist design. If you want to start managing your cards on the web, simply click the link below.
