The Google Pixel Watch has just appeared alongside the Pixel 6a. The two devices have appeared in a carrier inventory system, reports Android Police.
Both the Pixel Watch & Pixel 6a appeared to tease their colors
This does suggest that the launch of both devices is not that far away, while it also gives us some additional info. To be more accurate, it gives us some insight into colors and storage options.
The Google Pixel Watch appeared under the codename ‘rohan’. The device will come in three colors, black, gold, and gray. It also suggests that the device will include 32GB of storage. It’s also possible it will arrive in a cell-enabled model.
In addition to the Pixel Watch, the Pixel 6a also appeared, under the codename ‘bluejay’. That device will be available in three colors as well, including black, green, and white. All three color variants will include 128GB of storage.
So, it seems like the Pixel 6a could arrive in one variant only. We presume that its 128GB of storage, will be paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Google did something similar with the Pixel 5a.
Both devices could launch in May
That is basically all the information that we have at the moment. Earlier rumors did suggest that the Pixel 6a will launch in May, probably during Google I/O. Could the Pixel Watch launch alongside it? Well, it’s possible.
Alternatively, Google may wait with the Pixel Watch launch, and push it out in H2. It could possibly even launch alongside the Pixel 7 series in Q3 or Q4. Anything is possible at this point.
As most of you probably recall, both the Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch surfaced before, their designs, I mean. You can even check out our Pixel 6a preview, while we’re waiting for more information to appear, if you’re interested.
