The global Xiaomi 15 model has just appeared on Geekbench AI. In addition to that, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera information has surfaced yet again. Let’s first focus on the regular Xiaomi 15 model, though.
The global Xiaomi 15 model has appeared on Geekbench AI
The phone appeared on Geekbench AI with the 24129PN74G model number. The device appeared with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and 12GB of RAM. Android 15 was running on it too.
It was able to score 2,347 points in a single precision score, 2,346 points in a half-precision score, and 4,045 points in a quantized score, as you can see below.
With that being said, we’re not sure if the 16GB RAM model will be available. We’re also not sure if the Xiaomi 15 Pro will make its way to global markets. Last year, only the vanilla model launched, along with the ‘Ultra’ variant which arrived later on.
The global models could arrive in February
As a reminder, both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro have already launched in China. We’re not sure when will the global launch take place, but if Xiaomi ends up following its release cycle from last-gen models, we’ll have to wait until February.
Both of these phones are fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, by the way. Both of them have immensely thin bezels, and have a similar design language to last-gen models, with some changes.
The ‘Pro’ model is, of course, more powerful in some ways, but the Xiaomi 15 is nothing to scoff at. It’s also considerably smaller and ideal for people who don’t want to use a huge phone, but they still want a flagship-grade device.
The Xiaomi 15 also has a compelling camera setup, but the ‘Pro’ does have the upper hand in that regard. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will trump both of those devices, however, especially in the camera department.

Speaking of which, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera details have surfaced… again. They initially appeared at the end of last month, This time around the focus is on the telephoto cameras, however.
The source, Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, says that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will use a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 camera for its 3x telephoto unit. That is a 1/2.51-inch sensor, and a 70mm lens is expected. He also claims that the phone will offer telephoto macro function, which will be available on both telephoto cameras (at least one of which will be a periscope telephoto unit).
