Motorola offers a wide range of handsets across basically every section of the market, and right now you can get the excellent mid-range option, the Motorola Edge (2022) for just $146. This isn’t the lowest price it’s ever been as it was $139.99 back on the 15th of February. But this is only a $6 price increase and a really good deal.
Since this is a mid-range device it comes with plenty of powerful specs, and the full retail price for it at launch was $549.99. Motorola still sells this phone directly too and the price is $239.99 through the company’s official online store. So you’re saving over $90 by going through Amazon.
In terms of features, the Edge is packed with stuff to help you make the most of your device. It comes with a 50MP main camera on the back for photos. This is paired with a 13MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera for those shots where you need to fit more in the frame. I would typically use this camera for pictures of landscapes or things that just demand a wider shot.
The phone has a 6.6-inch FHD Plus OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. If you play games, this is going to enhance the experience quite a bit. Especially when you play games that support refresh rates up to 144Hz. Trust me, it makes a big difference when you’re playing multiplayer games. Because every split-second counts if you want to get the drop on your foes. Perhaps best of all for the majority of users though is the battery. The battery can last you around two days on a single charge. This will of course vary from user to user. But on average you should be able to get a couple of days out of it before needing to plug the phone in.
