Logitech officially announced the G Cloud gaming handheld this week and it supports NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW service right from the get-go. This is a pretty big deal for cloud gaming enthusiasts, but GeForce NOW also has support for eight new games this week. Meaning you have an even larger library of games to play on that new handheld. Once you get one, of course.
Even if you don’t have a G Cloud or plan to get one, you can still enjoy these new games on your PC, smartphone, or even your TV. There’s also a couple of new games to look forward to later this year. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide launches this Fall and will be available through GeForce NOW. And if you own Portal on Steam, you’ll get the RTX version as a free DLC download in November, also available through GeForce NOW.
In addition to G Cloud support, GeForce NOW has eight new games this week
NVIDIA continues to load GeForce NOW up with compatible games you can stream anywhere. And this week, three of those eight new games belong to the Total War franchise. Specifically, Total War: Warhammer, Total War: Warhammer II, and Total War: Warhammer III. If you’re a fan of the series, you can stream all three of these games anywhere now, and this goes for both the Steam and Epic Games Store versions.
Alongside those three games, NVIDIA is also adding Blind Fate: Edo no Yami, Construction Simulator, Soulstice, Stones Keeper, and Potion Permit. All five of which are new releases on Steam as of this week.
Outside of new game additions, NVIDIA plans to update the PC and Mac apps for GeForce NOW. The company says that the new app began rolling out as of this week. So if you already have the app installed, check and see if the update is available. There aren’t any major changes, but the new app does add a new resolution option. Allowing RTX 3080 members to stream games on 16:10 4K displays at 60 frames per second.
The new games, and the new PC and Mac app should already be available since NVIDIA pushed all of them out on September 22.
