Now that the Galaxy S25 Edge is official, Amazon is offering a pretty nice deal for the phone, for those that don’t want to trade in a phone. You can get the phone for $1,099, now yes that is full price. But hang on. You also get the free storage upgrade to 512GB and a $200 Amazon Gift Card for that price. That makes this a pretty sweet deal, and likely the best deal that doesn’t involve a trade-in.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is the first in a new trend of smartphones that we’re seeing lately, which is thin phones. The Galaxy S25 Edge is thinner than the rest of the Galaxy S25 lineup by a couple of millimeters. We’re looking at 5.8mm thin on the Galaxy S25 Edge, which does make it the thinnest Samsung phone ever made – beating out the Galaxy A8 from 2015 which was 5.9mm.
Internally, the Galaxy S25 Edge has basically all of the same specs as the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. This includes the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It also has a pretty small 3,900mAh capacity battery, though Samsung has been really good with optimization so that could still lead to good battery life.
It does have the same 6.7-inch display as the Galaxy S25 Plus, which is a 120Hz LTPO display. As well as having the same 200-megapixel primary camera as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Giving you 2x optical zoom via sensor cropping.
The Galaxy S25 Edge starts shipping on May 30, but you can pre-order today from Amazon.
