A new leak has shown us the size difference between Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra flagships. Noted tipster Ice Universe recently shared images of the multiple screen protectors for these phones. The images give us a fair idea of how big each of the three models is. Of course, the vanilla model is the most compact of the trio. We are hearing that it will sport a 6.1-inch display.

The Galaxy S23+ will be a lot bigger, measuring 6.6-inch diagonally. The Ultra model, meanwhile, only adds a few more millimeters over the Plus model. It will reportedly feature a 6.8-inch screen. If you’ve been keeping tabs, these rumored screen sizes are unchanged from the Galaxy S22 series. The Galaxy S23 trio will reportedly keep the same shape and size. Perhaps the design may not change either. Samsung is focusing on functional improvements over aesthetics. After all, there’s no point trying to fix something if it ain’t broken.

Speaking of functional improvements, the Galaxy S23 series will bring a lot. From a newer processor to bigger batteries and improved cameras, there’s plenty to look forward to. Based on rumors, we could be in line for Samsung’s biggest camera upgrade in years. The Korean firm may also go exclusive with Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for the sake of consistency and improved performance. Its in-house Exynos processors have always underperformed.

These screen protectors do not correctly indicate the display bezels on the Galaxy S23 trio

The leaked protective films also confirm what is already expected, that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a curved display while the other two models will sport flat screens. It’s also immediately noticeable that how the bezels around the protectors aren’t of the same size. And different sets of images show different sizes for bezels. And that’s because none of them correctly indicate the display bezels on the Galaxy S23 series. Protective films never do.

Thanks to the curved display, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the thinnest bezels among the three models. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t achieved uniform bezels yet. The chin is still a little thicker than the top bezel, though the side bezels are symmetric. Bezels on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are expected to be more uniform than the Ultra model. With the launch still months away, there’s plenty of time for more leaks and rumors about these phones. We will keep you updated with all the latest information.
