It was reported, last month, that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a ‘Super Clear Lens’. That lens was mentioned in a leaked image. Along with it, it was reported that it will help with reflection and glare while taking images.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship with anti-glare ‘Super Clear Lens’
Well, it seems like that information was true. Jimmy Is Promo corroborated the report, by adding that we’re looking at a 108-megapixel main camera here, as reported a number of times. He also added that all this means we’ll get “brighter shots without reflections or glare”.
It will sure be interesting to see this camera in action. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is still regarded to be one of the best camera smartphones on the market. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to improve upon that.
The difference may not be huge, but some sort of improvement is expected, especially in low light. Based on the explanation for this lens, it may even help with glare from street lights at night, and we may get brighter shots in general. Let’s just hope they’ll be well-balanced.
Samsung’s first 2022 Unpacked event will take place on February 9
This lens is expected to help with glare in general, so it will be useful in daylight conditions as well, at least it should be. Now, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will become official on February 9, during Samsung’s next Unpacked event.
This is not the only smartphone that the company will launch, though. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ will launch alongside it. That’s not all, as Samsung also plans to launch three flagship tablets.
The Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra will arrive. Those three tablets have also been leaking out for a while at this point. Alongside those six products, we’ll likely get plenty of accessories, mainly in the form of cases.
All in all, there’s plenty to look forward to when it comes to the upcoming event. Once again, it will take place on February 9, which is next week.
