The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ could be late to Samsung’s party. How so? Well, according to a new report, the Galaxy S22 and S22+ may become available later than expected due to “supply chain issues”.
The Galaxy S22 & S22+ may be late to Samsung’s party
This information comes from Jon Prosser, a well-known tipster. The Galaxy S22 Ultra may actually become available sooner than its siblings. It is said to go on sale on February 25.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+, on the other hand, are tipped to become available on March 11. Pre-orders for all three devices will commence at the same time, it seems. They’ll become available to pre-order on February 9.
This report is the complete opposite of what surfaced recently. A recent rumor suggested that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may be delayed. So, which source to believe? Well, Jon Prosser has been mostly spot on in the past, but we’ll see.
All three phones will launch on February 9, along with three tablets
Regardless, all three phones will launch at the same time. They’re coming on February 9, during Samsung’s next Unpacked event. Those three smartphones are not the only devices Samsung will announce, though.
The company is planning to launch three smartphones, and three tablets during the event. The Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra are also said to launch. Details regarding all those devices already surfaced, several times.
Still, the Galaxy S22 series will steal the spotlight, especially the Galaxy S22 Ultra. That device is basically expected to replace the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It will ship with the S Pen, and have a dock for it inside the device.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will also resemble the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra quite a bit. You can read more about the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra in our preview articles, in case you’d like to know more about them as we’re waiting for the launch event.
