The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been leaking for a long time now. Real-life images of the Galaxy S21 FE just surfaced as a cherry on top of a cake, basically. These images give us the best look at the device yet.
Five real-life images detail the Galaxy S21 FE design
If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll notice that the phone is shown from almost all angles here. You can clearly see what to expect out of it. It seems like previous leaks were spot on.
The device will have very thin bezels, and a flat display. A display camera hole will be present, and it will be centered. Three vertically-aligned cameras are included here, and the entire design of the phone looks like a cross between the Galaxy S20 FE and S21.
We’re not sure what materials will Samsung use here, but chances are it will combine metal and plastic. All the physical buttons are located on the right-hand side of the device.
You’ll notice that a Type-C USB port sits at the bottom, along with a microSD card slot. There is also a speaker grill for the phone’s main speaker. At the top, there is a noise-canceling microphone, and not much else.
The device is expected to launch in January
The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to launch in January, on January 4. The phone was initially expected in August, but due to the chip shortage, that didn’t happen. It was rumored to arrive in October, but that didn’t pan out either. A January launch seems like it’s happening, though.
The device will launch about a month before the Galaxy S22 series. It will be interesting to see in how many markets will it be available, and how well will it sell considering that the Galaxy S22 series is coming.
The Galaxy S21 FE will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, and it will include a 120Hz fullHD+ AMOLED display. You can expect to get 8GB of RAM here, and a battery that will be more than large enough. Both fast charging and fast wireless charging support are expected.
Samsung will also make this phone water and dust resistant, while you’ll get wide, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras on the back of the phone. It’s also worth saying that the phone is coming in quite a few colors.
