Samsung‘s stable Android 12 rollout is in full force. The company has released the big update to several Galaxy smartphones and tablets over the past few days. A couple more are joining the party today: the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. The 2019 phablets are now picking up the stable One UI 4.0 update in some European countries, including Switzerland. The rollout should reach more markets in the coming days.

One UI 4.0 is the latest iteration of Samsung’s custom Android skin. Based on Android 12, the new version brings plenty of goodies to the Korean giant’s Galaxy smartphones and tablets. We have new features from both Samsung as well as Google. You can check out the full One UI 4.0 changelog here, though some of those features may not be available to the Galaxy Note 10 phones.

Additionally, the 2019 S Pen wielding Samsung flagships are also picking up the January 2021 Android security patch with this update. The Korean firm has made a habit of releasing a new security patch even before we have flipped the calendar to the new month. And it has kept the trend going this month as well, while simultaneously rolling out the stable One UI 4.0 update to a bunch of Galaxy devices.

Samsung has now seeded Android 12 to all eligible flagship models

Samsung began rolling out the stable Android 12 update to its devices in mid-November, with the Galaxy S21 series picking up the big update first. Since then, the company has released One UI 4.0 to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Fold, and now, the Galaxy Note 10 series. This means the Korean giant has now seeded the latest update to all eligible flagship smartphones. Phones launched in 2018 or before won’t get One UI 4.0.

The big updates for these Samsung devices are currently available only in a few markets. But it should now only be a matter of time before the rollout expands globally. You should be notified by your phone when the OTA (over the air) update becomes available. As always, you can also check for updates manually by navigating to Settings > Software update and tapping on Download and install.

Samsung will also release the One UI 4.0 update to a bunch of mid-range and budget Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the coming weeks and months. We will let you know when the rollouts begin.
