Samsung may soon take wraps off the Galaxy A24. After confirming the existence of the device last month, the company has now started putting up support pages for the unannounced phone on its official websites. Various third-party accessory makers have also listed cases for the phone, further hinting at an imminent launch. We still don’t have an official launch date, though.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is nearing its launch

Samsung recently published a support page for the Galaxy A24 on its official website for India. The device is listed with the model number SM-A245F/DS. It confirms a 4G smartphone with dual-SIM support, at least in India. As usual, the support page doesn’t reveal anything about the phone, but a major leak last month has already unwrapped pretty much everything you need to know.

The Galaxy A24 sports a familiar “bump-less” rear camera design that you’ll see on every other recent Samsung device. It gets a 50MP primary shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 5MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro camera. A 13MP selfie camera sits inside the U-shaped notch on the front. The display measures 6.5 inches diagonally and offers a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 1000 units.

Powering this phone is reportedly MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor paired with at least 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung may offer the handset in more memory configurations, though. The Galaxy A24 will also support microSD cards of up to 1TB capacity. A 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack with Dolby Atmos support, and Android 13 complete the package.

While we wait for an official launch date for the Galaxy A24, accessory makers have already started listing cases for the phone. We have seen a couple of options on Croma and a couple more on Amazon. All of these developments suggest Samsung will make the new mid-range device official very soon.

Samsung’s 2023 smartphone portfolio is growing big

Samsung has launched 11 smartphones so far in 2023, including three Galaxy S23 flagships and eight budget and mid-range models across Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy F lineups. Only two of them are 4G devices — Galaxy F04 and Galaxy A14. The Galaxy A24 will now arrive soon without 5G connectivity, though we aren’t ruling out the possibility of a 5G variant sometime later. The company launched the Galaxy A23 4G in March of last year and followed up with a 5G model in August. We will let you know as soon as we have more information about the Galaxy A24.
