Samsung recently introduced its latest high-end smartphone dubbed the Galaxy S24 FE. The Korean tech giant also launched a couple of new flagship tablets dubbed the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. Now, the brand is planning to expand its portfolio of budget Galaxy A series devices by introducing the Galaxy A16 soon. We’ve already received plenty of details regarding the upcoming handset from the rumor mill. Now, the folks over at YTECHB have posted new renders of the Galaxy A16 in all color variants.
Galaxy A16 will be available in all of these color options
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A16 will launch in 4G and 5G connectivity variants. The latest leak has revealed all color options for the Galaxy A16 through official-looking renders. As per the source, the Galaxy A16’s 5G model will have a shiny back panel. The handset will launch in Blue Black, Light Green, and Gray color models.
As for the Galaxy A16 4G variant, it will have a plain back without any distinguishing pattern. The device will arrive in Black, Light Green, and Gray color variants, added the source.
Apart from a slightly differently designed back panel, the Galaxy A16’s 4G and 5G models will have the same design. They will have a U-shaped notch above the screen to house the selfie camera and minimal side bezels. The phones will have a vertically-placed triple primary camera module. The handset’s power button and volume rocker will be placed on the right side.
Galaxy A16 budget phone’s leaked specs so far
According to the reports, the Galaxy A16 will have a 6.7-inch display of unknown resolution. The phone will be powered by either the Exynos 1300 or the Dimensity 6300 chipset. The handset will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations. These will include 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.
The Galaxy A16 will have a 5,000mAh battery. The company will offer six years of Android software and security updates for the phone. It will be the highest for any budget smartphone by any brand anywhere.
As of now, there’s no word regarding the launch date of the Galaxy A16. However, since the phone has already been certified by FCC and TUV Rheinland recently, an official launch seems to be imminent.
