It seems that the launch of Samsung’s next affordable smartphone is just around the corner. A new leak shows the Galaxy A06 in all its colors, confirming a familiar design. Previous reports have revealed some details about its technical specs.
The Galaxy A0x lineup offers phones with humble specs for users who don’t want to spend a lot of money but want the backing of a big brand like Samsung. The Galaxy A06 will be no exception, and it might even share some key components with its predecessor, the Galaxy A05. In July, tipster Evan Blass shared some renders of the device. Now the same source has posted leaked marketing material that confirms what the Galaxy A06 will look like in all its colors.

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy A06 will be available in colors like black, sky blue, and gold. The phone’s rear area shows a refined version of the Galaxy A05’s design, although this time the lines seem to be more pronounced. The edges of the device are now flat, similar to other more recent Galaxy devices. Plus, the physical button area receives the Key Island design debuted on the Galaxy A55 to give it a distinctive touch.
As a low-end device, the screen is surrounded by noticeable and irregular bezels. Samsung also maintains a water-drop notch instead of a punch hole for the front camera. The report does not include information on the device’s specs, but previous leaks revealed that it will use the Mediatek Helio G85 chip, the same as the Galaxy A05. It would be available in variants with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. It would also have a 6.7” HD+ LCD display and a 5,000 mAh battery. Rumors suggest it would support 15W or 25W fast charging.
There is still no official launch date for the Galaxy A06. However, Samsung usually makes quiet launches for low-profile products. We will probably soon see how the brand simply enables the product page on its website without much fanfare.
