We are just a few days away from the Unpacked 2022 event. Here, Samsung will launch the much-awaited Galaxy S22 series, and it is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Tab S8 tablet series.
While Samsung fans have their eyes set on the event, some fresh leaks have surfaced on the internet regarding the Galaxy A53 smartphone.
According to a report by WinFuture, official renders and complete specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 have popped up online. This mid-range A-series phone will come in and possibly replace the Galaxy A52 lineup.
Notably, the Galaxy A53 looks similar to the Galaxy A52, for the most part. Speaking of the specs, it is speculated to come with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It will be a 120Hz high-refresh-rate panel.
There will be a punch-hole at the center that will house the selfie camera. It will reportedly be a 32MP camera. The Galaxy A53 will be surrounded by a plastic frame, and it will sport the same dimensions as the Galaxy A52.
On the software side, it should come with Android 12 One UI 4.0 out of the box. It may even come with One UI 4.1. We expect better clarity on this as more information comes in.
Galaxy A53 is purported to be powered by the unannounced Exynos 1200 SoC
Leaks also suggest that Samsung Galaxy A53 will come with a quad-camera setup. There will be a primary 64MP camera, alongside a 12MP ultrawide, and two 5MP cameras for macro and depth information.
Regarding the processor, there is no clarity on which SoC will be powering the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G. However, rumours point out that it will come with a new Samsung SoC, probably the Exynos 1200 chipset.
There will be two RAM options, i.e., 6GB and 8GB. Storage will start at 128GB, but you will be able to further expand it with the microSD card slot.
Under the hood, the phone will rock a 5,000 mAh battery, which will support 25W fast charging. There is no confirmation at this point regarding the specs. So, take all this information with a pinch of salt.
The Galaxy A53 will reportedly weigh 189 grams, and thanks to the materials used to build it, the phone will feel thin for its size. There are all the necessary connectivity features such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.x, WLAN, and NFC.
As far as pricing is concerned, the 6GB variant of the Galaxy A53 will cost you around €460 in Europe. Again, there is no clarity on its official pricing, these prices are simply based on leaks and rumors.
