The very first OnePlus tablet could launch mid-year. According to a new report, it has entered private testing in India. The tablet’s codename is ‘Aries’, if this report is to be believed. This information comes from MySmartPrice, and the info has been received from an unnamed source.

This tablet could be called the OnePlus Pad. That is the name that has been mentioned the most often in rumors. The OnePlus Tab name also popped up quite a few times, though.
Why would its launch happen mid-year, though? Well, based on the info shared by the source, it will probably launch alongside the OnePlus 11R in India. The OnePlus 11R is rumored to arrive “around June 2023”, so there you go.
Yes, OnePlus’ tablet will likely arrive in other markets as well, it won’t be exclusive to India. We’re just not sure whether it will launch at the same time, or will we have to wait a bit longer for it to happen.

What about its specs? Well, quite frankly, we don’t know. A rumor surfaced in early 2022, claiming that the device will arrive in H1 2022, and it also shared its specs. The thing is, that rumor was way off regarding the launch date, so the specs are probably not accurate either.
We don’t even know if OnePlus will aim for the top-tier class with this tablet, or will it be a more affordable option. If we had to guess, though, we’d say the latter. We’re not sure there are a lot of OnePlus users who would pay a premium for a tablet.
If this thing really is coming mid-year, chances are we’ll see some spec leaks in the near future. So, we won’t have to wait long in order to get more information. Stay tuned for that, as we’re waiting for the global OnePlus 11 launch to take place. That will happen on February 7.
