Paul Sidhu stars in the upcoming action-packed film, Repeater. The movie centers around Sidhu’s character, John Smith, an experienced hitman working on one of the most challenging jobs he’s faced yet. After botching his most recent contract, Smith is looking for redemption as he attempts to track down his latest target, who proves to be quite elusive. MovieWeb received an exclusive clip from the upcoming project, with the brand-new look featured below.
In the clip, we see Smith’s target, Jean Rousseau, played by Nick Moran. He’s quick to catch on to Smith’s plan, leading to a fistfight between Smith and rival contact killers who have plans of their own. Sidhu’s character proves he can hold his own, with plenty of experience in the field. He has a little help from a friend, though the undercover operation quickly turns sour. The rest of the film should follow plenty of shootouts, hand-to-hand combat, car chases, and more as Smith tracks down his slippery contract.
The official synopsis for Repeater reads: “A hired hitman is in the crosshairs when rival contract killers come gunning for him. For hired hitman Smith, his directive is straightforward: seek, locate, and terminate. But rival assassins have him in their sites as they track and target each other and aim for their latest assignment, a hacker who threatens to expose the malicious criminality of a conglomerate head. REPEATER is an intensely exciting action thriller.”
As we’ve seen, Smith is never safe in Repeater as he tracks his target while eluding the contract killers out to hunt him.
The Stars of Repeater
Paul Sidhu is the star hitman of Repeater, offering his take on the hunt-or-be-hunted plot of the film. His previous credits include Hustle Down and 2307: Winter’s Dream. He’s joined by Kristanna Loken, a rival contract killer known for her work in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, BloodRayne, and Lime Salted Love. Nick Moran stars as the target of the movie, Jean Rousseau, with experience in films including appearances in the Harry Potter franchise as Scabior, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Gary Daniels joins the cast as Henrik Botha, another contract killer known for his work in Tekken, The Expendables, and Astro.
Corbin Bernsen (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and James Faulkner (Game of Thrones) also make appearances. Repeater is helmed by R. Ellis Frazier, who previously collaborated with Sidhu on Hustle Down, with other projects including Legacy, Rumble, Eight Days Carlo, and Larceny.
Repeater will arrive in select theaters on December 9, followed by an On-Demand and digital release arriving on December 13 from Saban Films.
