The Samsung Galaxy A56 is one of the company’s upcoming mid-range smartphones, and we’re here to show you what the device will look like. This is essentially our very first look at the design of the Samsung Galaxy A56.

This is what the Samsung Galaxy A56 will look like

If you check out the gallery below this paragraph, you’ll get to see three images of the device. These images are based on CAD renders, in case you’re wondering. That’s not all, though, as we also have a video showing the phone’s design, which is embedded below the article.

Having said that, these images show us the phone’s design from all angles. This phone basically looks like Samsung combined several different phones into one. The right side looks like it was taken from the Galaxy A16 or Galaxy A26, while the sides are flat as they are on the company’s flagships, the same goes for the display camera hole on the front.

It will feature the so-called ‘Key Island’ on the right side

The Galaxy A56 has a flat frame all around, well, almost. The right side of the phone is kind of an exception to the rule. The so-called ‘Key Island’ is located on the right side. The lower half of the frame on that right side is flat, while the upper portion is raised. That upper portion contains the power/lock and volume rocker buttons.

The point where the frame raises up has a nice thumb anchor, so finding the buttons will be very easy. The frame is flat on all other sides, with very slight curves towards the edges, for comfort’s sake. The SIM card tray is located at the bottom of the phone.

The display on this phone is flat, while a display camera hole is centered up top. The bezels are thin, but they’re not uniform. The bottom bezel is thicker than the rest, it would seem.

You’ll notice that the back side of the phone is also flat. The camera island sits in the top-left corner on the back, and it contains three cameras. That camera island does protrude quite a bit. An LED flash sits next to the camera island.

45W wired charging is expected, as is the Exynos 1580 SoC

The Samsung Galaxy A56 is expected to offer 45W wired charging, just like the company’s flagships. Well, at least based on a recent certification from China. The Exynos 1580 SoC is tipped to fuel this smartphone, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

That’s basically everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy A56 at this point. We’re not sure when will this phone launch, but if Samsung ends up following its release cycle, we may be in for quite a wait.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 launched in March 2023, while the Galaxy A55 arrived in March 2024. By that logic, the Galaxy A56 will launch in March 2025, so… not anytime soon. Who knows, though, Samsung could end up changing its release cycle.
