We’re bringing you yet another design exclusive, following the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (& Plus), and the Galaxy S23 FE. This time around we’re showing you the design of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G.

Yes, this is an entry-level smartphone, but an extremely popular one. Samsung does sell tons of these phones each year and is constantly trying to improve its entry-level offerings.

Here’s an exclusive Samsung Galaxy A16 5G image, showing off the phone’s design

If you check out the provided image, you’ll see the Galaxy A16s in the flesh. The phone actually has a rather interesting design along its right side. The point where the power/lock and volume rocker buttons are, it’s wider than on the rest of the right side. This is a rather interesting approach by the company.

You can see that the phone’s side gradually rises towards the phone’s buttons. That power/lock button on the right will double as a fingerprint scanner, by the way. The phone’s sides are flat all around, aside from that bulge on the right side.

The Galaxy A16 5G features a flat display, with a waterdrop notch at the top. A front-facing camera sits inside that notch. There is also a ‘chin’ placed below the display, and it’s obviously thicker than bezels on all the other sides.

The phone will include three cameras on the back, and a 5,000mAh battery

If we flip the device around, you’ll spot three cameras on the back. They are vertically aligned in the top-left corner, and each of them protrudes directly from the backplate. An LED flash sits right next to them. Samsung’s branding is also visible on the back of the device. The phone’s SIM card tray will be accessible from the left.

Based on what Samsung used for the Galaxy A15, this phone will be made out of plastic. That goes for both its frame and backplate. We cannot confirm that, but it sure does look like it.

The Galaxy A16 already appeared on Geekbench on several occasions, with two SoCs. One model was fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, while the other used the Exynos 1330 processor. Both variants could launch, we’re not sure at this point. 4 GB of RAM will also be included. It’s also worth noting that a 4G model could become a reality. A 5,000mAh battery will be included inside the Galaxy A16 5G.
