Samsung is expected to unveil the successors to the Galaxy S24 series at some point in late January or early February. Just like this year, the company is said to launch the phones in three variants – the vanilla Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. While the official unveiling is more than four months away, the rumor mill has already revealed some details about the upcoming flagships.

A few days ago, the reliable gadget tipster Ice Universe suggested that the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have some design similarities. Now, the same leaker has revealed the dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra model.

Galaxy S25 Ultra dimensions suggest the slimmest “Ultra” model yet

According to the source, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s dimensions are 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm. If the information is true, the S25 Ultra will be the slimmest “Ultra” variant in the Galaxy S flagship series. The handset will measure 8.2mm around the waist, slightly slimmer than the 8.6mm Galaxy S24 Ultra model.

The tipster hasn’t yet revealed the exact screen size of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the source did suggest that the phone will have “almost the same screen size, length, width, height, and bezel” as the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max. If the reports are to be believed, the new iPhone could feature a 6.9-inch screen.

Furthermore, the leaker also suggested that Samsung will continue to offer 45W fast charging for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Notably, the phone will reportedly have the same 5,000mAh battery as its predecessor. There’s a possibility of some hardware-level upgrades to boost the battery life with the same power cells. Only time will tell.

Samsung is said to have finalized the design of the Galaxy S25 series

Notably, Roland Quandt, another tipster on X, recently suggested that Samsung may have finalized the design of the S25 series. The company has reportedly been building samples for the Galaxy S25 series of phones since July. Furthermore, the leaker suggested that the Galaxy S25 UItra will continue to support an S Pen.

The tipster seems quite confident about Samsung launching three models in the series. However, since the new flagships aren’t launching anytime soon, a lot can change. We will know more in the coming weeks, so watch this space for regular updates.
