A24 Movies On Netflix 2024

Pictures: A24

In recent months, Netflix has been picking up A24 movies again, but they don’t stay on the service for long. Below, we’ll be looking into all the A24 movies that have been added to Netflix in the US and when they’ll be leaving. We’ll also, where applicable, look into all the A24 movies coming soon to Netflix.

This list also won’t include any exclusive A24 movies or television series the studio has produced for Netflix, although we very much recommend you watch those, too. Highlights include the TV series Beef and Survival of the Thickest and the 2023 documentary The Deepest Breath.

Recently removed A24 movies include The Kill Team and Cut Bank.

Please note: This list only covers Netflix in the United States. We’re looking at licensed A24 movies cycling on and off the platform. We’ll also include preliminary removal dates, although these are subject to change.

Good Time (2017)

Josh and Benny Safdie teamed up with A24 on this criminally underrated crime drama starring Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Barkhad Abdi.

It’s about a man trying to get his younger brother out of jail while trying to escape the cops following an ill-fated bank robbery.

Uncut Gems (2019)

Removal Date
: May 9th, 2024

Coming from the Safdie Brothers – this intense movie starred Adam Sandler in one of his most career-defining roles thus far. He stars as a pawnbroker who is juggling too many plates and is in over his head.

The Ballad of Lefty Brown (2017)

Added to Netflix: November 7th, 2023
Removal Date: February 29th, 2024

With Yellowstone and other Westerns being as popular as ever, it’s great to see the Bill Pullman-led Western movie return to the service. This one was praised by critics, but judging by audience scores, it may be hit or miss.

Here’s what you can expect from the movie with the synopsis provided by Netflix:

“After his longtime partner is assassinated, a slow-footed cowboy sets out to find his killer and uncovers a conspiracy engineered by some powerful men.”

The movie was last seen on Netflix for a two-year stint between February 2020 and 2022.

Arriving amongst the 50+ strong lineup for November 1st was Woodshock, a horror/thriller headlined by Kirsten Dunst. The movie follows a woman who detaches from reality after taking a hallucinatory drug after her mother’s passing away.

Sadly, reviews for this title aren’t particularly strong from either critics or audiences, but if you’re looking to tick off another A24 movie from your watchlist, you can now do so on Netflix.

The Bling Ring (2017)

Added to Netflix: October 27th, 2023

Lady Bird (2017)

Greta Gerwig seemingly took over the world this year with her outstanding Barbie movie, but Lady Bird is where Gerwig’s directing talent really was on full display.

Per Netflix, here’s what you can expect from the R-rated comedy-drama:

“An intrepid high schooler in Sacramento undergoes the trials of love, family and self-discovery as she dreams of escaping to college on the East Coast.”

The 2017 movie has an all-star cast, including Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet, and was last seen on Netflix before its readdition in 2024 between June 2020 and June 2022.

This Colin Farrel and Nicole Kidman thriller was re-added alongside Lady Bird and previously streamed on Netflix between April 2020 and April 2022.

Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the two-hour flick is a perfect re-addition for Halloween, telling the story of a surgeon who takes a young boy under his wing, and his life starts falling apart.
