Trump “swiftly” lost his cool when these two music legends hurt his feelings.

In his latest Truth Social tirade, former President Donald Trump lashed out at two of America’s most iconic musicians—Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift—proving once again that no celebrity is safe from his wrath, especially if they dare to oppose him politically.

During the opening night of his European tour in Manchester, England, Bruce Springsteen didn’t hold back. The Boss labeled the Trump administration as “corrupt,” “incompetent,” and “treasonous,” urging fans to stand up for democracy and resist authoritarianism. Springsteen emphasized the role of art under Trump and criticized threats to free speech and civil rights in the United States.

“Never liked him, never liked his music”

Trump, always thin-skinned, responded to Springsteen with a venomous post on Truth Social. He dismissed Springsteen as “Highly Overrated,” called him “dumb as a rock,” and mocked his appearance, referring to him as a “dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker.” Trump warned Springsteen to “KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country,” suggesting that speaking ill of the president is unacceptable.

Not content with attacking just one music legend, Trump also reignited his feud with pop superstar Taylor Swift. The animosity started back in September 2024, when Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. Shortly after, Trump posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social, a declaration that lacked context but was a response to her political stance.

Trump says Swift’s “no longer hot”

In his recent outburst, Trump claimed that since his declaration, Swift is “no longer ‘HOT.’” (Don’t tell Travis Kelce). This assertion seems delusional, considering Swift’s ongoing success, including her record-breaking “Eras Tour,” which grossed $2 billion. Meanwhile, she holds the most Grammy Album of the Year wins, and Forbes estimates her net worth at $1.6 billion, underscoring her continued cultural and financial success. Trump typically loves rich people, just not when they criticize him.

Also proving Trump wrong, Swifties are abuzz with speculation that she may announce her 12th studio album at the upcoming American Music Awards (AMAs) on May 26, indicating interest in the global megastar has hardly waned.

“Whiny. Little. B—”

Trump’s attacks on Springsteen and Swift are part of a broader pattern of targeting celebrities who oppose him. From mocking Swift’s political endorsements to belittling Springsteen’s critiques, Trump’s responses often veer into personal insults and hyperbole. This behavior not only reflects his sensitivity to criticism but also his tendency to deflect from substantive issues by creating distractions.

Trump’s focus on celebrity feuds may serve to energize his base. However, artists like Springsteen and Swift, who continue to use their platforms to advocate for political engagement and social justice, will resonate with audiences seeking leadership grounded in integrity and purpose.
