Create Lists In Style With ‘Listy’ Android App

If you tend to create a lot of lists, Listy is an app you may not know you need. Sure, you can create lists in any note-taking app, but it’s not the same thing as using a dedicated app for something like that.

In comes Listy, a truly great Android app for creating lists. Lists in this app will look far more visually appealing than lists in your note-taking apps, not to mention that the app can actually pull information from the links you provide.

So, for example, if you set out to create a list of movies you’d like to see, you can simply share IMDB links with the app, and the app will pull all the necessary info from those links. In other words, you’ll get the featured image, the plot, the movie rating, and so on.

You will, of course, be able to open every single one of those links from the app, and simply mark them off if you don’t need them anymore. IMDb is just one example, of course, those links really don’t have to be from there.

You can also create lists of video games, restaurants, books, and so forth. Yes, you can go even simpler than that, and use this app for your lists of groceries, and even use it as a bookmarks app.

The UI is simple, and yet great to use

The app does have a really simple, and yet great UI. It works really well, and it doesn’t require you to register or anything of the sort, you’ll be able to start using it right away. All the content you enter stays on your device, in case you’re worried about privacy.

You can manually export and import your data, of course, and use all that on a different device. The dark mode is also available in the app, you’ll need to toggle it on manually, though.

Some planned features are the ability to share your lists, and an optional backup system (so that you don’t have to do it manually), while the company is also planning for tablet, desktop, and watch versions of the app.
