Circular has just announced a new smart ring, the Circular Ring 2. This smart ring comes with a built-in ECG, and it also has a digital sizing functionality. We’ll explain what that is in no time.

The Circular Ring 2 is here with a built-in ECG

Circular made this announcement at the ongoing CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The company’s Ring 2 has an FDA-cleared AFib detection algorithm, and its battery can run for up to 8 days. That puts in on the same playing field as the Galaxy Ring.

Now, in regards to the digital sizing. Instead of using a plastic sizing kit, Circular opted to use its app in order to calculate your ring size. Circular, unfortunately, did not explain how will this work. If we had to guess, however, we’d say that some sort of an AR feature will be used. It will be ineresting to see if this will be precise, though.

It’s made out of titanium and comes in four colors

The Circular Ring 2 comes in Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, and Black color options. It’s made from titanium and comes with an improved ECG sensor which is powering the AFib detection algorithm we’ve mentioned earlier.

The company’s Co-founder and CEO, Amaury Kosman, said the following: “With the Circular Ring 2, we’ve reimagined what a smart ring can be—combining advanced health technology with timeless design and unmatched durability.”

Do note that the Circular Ring 2 can also track heart health for 24 hours a day, like most smart rings. It can also keep track of your sleep, and everything else you’d expect out of a smart ring these days.

This ring won’t be cheap, though

Circular also promised a redesigned app. A “more intuitive and refined user experience” was promised by Circular. This ring is expected to hit the store shelves in February or March this year. In case you’re wondering about the price, you’ll need to shell out $380 for one ring.
