Google is tossing out a pretty sizeable list of games for free to Stadia Pro members in January. And, there’s at least two games in the list you will definitely want to claim. Stadia Pro is Google’s way of giving back to subscribers. By offering up games that you can claim at no charge. You can then play them at any point as long as your Stadia Pro subscription remains in active status.
Even if you let your Pro subscription lapse, the games will never leave your library. And you can once again play them once you re-subscribe. This is especially good news this coming month, because for January Stadia Pro subscribers are getting Darksiders 3 and Bloodstained.
Darksiders 3 is a masterful entry in the franchise. And if you’ve never played a Darksiders game before, they offer up some amazing action combat. Bloodstained on the other hand, is a metroidvania title that plays out like a new Castlevania game.
Stadia Pro will get five games for January
The above-mentioned titles may be the two top games to acquire as they’re the heavy hitters. But there are five games in total being added to Stadia Pro next month. The remaining three are Shantae: Risky’s Revenge, Darkside Detective: A Fumble In The Dark, and DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn Of The New Riders.
Now all of these games are sure to be hits with someone. But Darksiders 3 and Bloodstained are absolutely the two must-haves. So make sure to pick them up. You’ll be able to do so beginning the morning of January 1, and games should be available to claim by 9am PST that morning.
AC Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok lands on March 10
This week Google has also announced that the next Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion, Dawn Of Ragnarok, will be landing on Stadia on March 10., 2022. It hasn’t announced any pricing details for this piece of DLC. So the word is still out on what cost will be when it drops.
But regardless of whatever the cost is, those who have completed the game on Stadia may want to continue Eivor’s journey on the platform when this expansion arrives.
