EcoFlow makes its way into smartphone battery packs with the new Rapid Series
You likely know EcoFlow for all of its large batteries that can power your home during a power outage, or its solar options. But now, EcoFlow is getting into making battery packs for smartphones. Specifically MagSafe battery packs (also Qi2-compatible). This is part of their new Rapid Series, which are metal battery packs that look incredible.
EcoFlow is offering these battery packs in 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh capacities. Both of these offer up 15W wireless charging, through MagSafe/Qi2, as well as 30W wired on the 5,000mAh and 65W wired on the 10,000mAh.
Like many other battery packs that we’ve seen lately, there is also a screen on the front, which indicates the charging speed and how long it can charge for. On the 10,000mAh capacity model there is also an app that works with it, that you can use to control the battery pack. And finally, there’s a kickstand on the back, to allow you to watch content on your phone while charging.
With a built-in USB-C cable, you’re ready to go
EcoFlow has also included an embedded USB-C cable on both of these battery packs. Meaning that you don’t need to carry an additional cable with you to charge it, or anything you want to charge. As the USB-C cable can do both output and input. Making it seamless for taking with you when you travel anywhere.
The company is offering both models in three colors: silver, black and blue. Finally, the EcoFlow Rapid battery can maintain more than 95% of energy for a month. Meaning that standby is pretty good here. So you don’t have to worry about always charging it to make sure you’re ready when you need it.
This is why EcoFlow has earned a Best of IFA 2024 award from Android Headlines this year.
