Anker’s Solix X1 really lit up the floor at IFA 2024
We’re all still reeling from all of the announcements at IFA 2024. This trade show is one of the biggest of the year, and we saw some amazing tech announced. Anker wasn’t shy about showing up the competition with its new SOLIX X1 Hybrid Energy System.
Keeping your home powered can be a challenge in certain circumstances. There’s always the chance of bad weather or power outages that can render your house a cold and dark place to live.
Well, this is where Anker comes in with its SOLIX X1. This is an energy system that can power your house in case you need some emergency power. It has a hybrid three-phase energy storage system. It stores a ton of electricity so that, if the power goes out, it will supply your house with power for a temporary period of time. This way, you won’t be without the essentials.

This device is IP66 water and dust-resistant. This means that it’s pretty well-protected from water and solids, but you should still avoid getting it wet. It will be okay if some water is splashed on it. However, in the case of a flood, it might be damaged.
Modular design
Depending on the size of your house, your energy needs will vary. This is why the SOLIX X1 comes with a modular design. You’re able to connect individual units to one another so that you can expand the capacity. This is great, as you won’t need to buy a whole new system just to get more energy.
You’re able to use old and new batteries together. If one of the batteries fails, Anker has an auto-isolation technology that will cut that battery off from the rest and continue powering your home.
