Samsung finally launched the Galaxy S21 FE as part of CES 2022. That phone was initially expected to arrive in August last year, but after being postponed several times, it finally arrived this month. The Galaxy S21 FE is, without a doubt, the most popular smartphone that got presented at CES 2022. Granted, we didn’t really see that many phones being announced, but it would be difficult to steal the show from the Galaxy S21 FE either way. The Galaxy S21 FE is, in fact, one of the winners of our CES 2022 awards.

The Galaxy S21 FE is the most notable smartphone that appeared at CES 2022

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is exactly what we expected. It’s one of the best phones for people who want a flagship-level device, but are unwilling to part with $1,000. Truth be said, this phone would be even more appealing if it launched in August, way before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 arrived, but… it is what it is. It is still more than a compelling package, and even though its price could be a tad bit lower, it’s a great option for many people.

This smartphone is trying to be good at a lot of things. It also offer some flashy specs for its consumers. It does resemble the Galaxy S21 in a number of ways, though it is downgraded in some less-important areas to be able to be sold at $699. Truth be said, those areas (like the haptic motor) won’t matter to most people all that much. Despite some shortcomings, this phone does have a lot to offer for the money.

It looks modern, and comes in some interesting color options, with powerful specs

The Galaxy S21 FE features really thin bezels, and it comes with a display camera hole. Along with that, there are three cameras on the back. It has a flat display, and it comes in four color variants. Lavender and Olive colors are the flashiest, though you can get the White or Graphite version as well, in case you prefer a more standard color. The device has all the bells and whistles you may want out of a phone, to be quite honest.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC, or the Exynos 2100, depending on the market. It has a gorgeous AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and HDR10+ support. That display is not huge, but it’s more than large enough at 6.4 inches. On top of that, you’re also getting stereo speakers with 32-bit audio, water and dust resistance, a reliable optical fingerprint scanner, and more than capable cameras. The very latest version of Google’s OS is here as well, Android 12. Samsung’s One UI 4 is installed on top of it, though, and it provides a ton of customization.

The Galaxy S21 FE is a great option for many people

The bottom line is, the Galaxy S21 FE will still be a great option for many people. Despite all sorts of Galaxy S21 discounts, and the fact the Galaxy S22 is right around the corner, this is still a valuable offering for Samsung. This phone is more than capable of serving you for years to come. It also looks quite appealing at the same time.
